Christopher Sharman is a UK-based cinematographer working in film, television and branded content.

Chris began to learn his craft in the early 2000s as a BBC staff cameraman, shooting countless hours of short-form current affairs. Freelance since 2007, he has gained a reputation as a sought-after DOP on high-end broadcast and theatrical documentaries, while also successfully transitioning into commercial and narrative work.

He has travelled to shoot extensively all over the world, and is a current I-Visa holder for documentary work in the USA.

This experience allows him to light and shoot for a vast range of styles. Camera operating is second-nature, and he combines his technical skills with an artistic eye, diligent prep and commitment to deliver for the story and the director.
